About this calculator
VPT Calculator is a free, independent tool for estimating Victorian Points Test and SkillSelect scores before you lodge an ROI or EOI.
Where the numbers come from
Every points value on this site is copied from the official tables. They were last checked on 14 October 2026.
- Victorian Points Test, Victorian Government (Live in Melbourne)
- Points calculator, Department of Home Affairs
- Skilled migration visas, Victorian Government (Live in Melbourne)
Victoria and the Australian Government can change their rules at any time. The federal points test is under review after the May 2026 Budget, and Victoria's 2026-27 program criteria will be confirmed when it opens. Always confirm your score against the official pages before you apply.
Your privacy
The calculators run entirely in your browser. Nothing you select is sent to a server. The only thing we receive is a business enquiry, if you choose to send one through the advertise form. There are no cookies, analytics, advertising or third party scripts. Your answers are remembered on your own device so they are still there if you reload, and the Start again button clears them.
Not migration advice
Please read the full disclaimer and terms of use.
This site is not affiliated with the Victorian Government or the Department of Home Affairs. It gives an estimate only and is not legal or migration advice. Your actual score is calculated from the claims in your EOI and ROI and the evidence you provide. For advice on your situation, speak with a registered migration agent or an Australian legal practitioner.
